Jon

A hard-gainer who trains for strength and muscle mass. Once a wiry fellow, Jon makes good on his fitness goals by following a “powerbuilding” program that integrates bodybuilding into strength training, boosting both functionality and size.

Robin

Her initial curiosity for barbell training led to world-class competitive powerlifting. After dabbling in other areas of fitness, Robin found barbell training to be the most enjoyable; the mechanical efficiency that the barbell demands coupled with the quantitative gains in strength produce a personal challenge unmatched by other fitness disciplines.

A paramilitary agent driven to sharpen his game. Ryan is a veteran who utilizes strength, plyometrics, and unconventional forms of conditioning to stay mission ready.

A high school athlete who landed a position on an NCAA swim team. Mady is the unassuming competitor; she may be quiet and studious, but this young lady trains to win. Training for power production outside of the pool translates to victories inside the pool.

A successful entrepreneur with no plans to retire. Buddy recognizes that regularly trained barbell movements are invaluable for maintaining general health and vigor at any age.

A distance runner who uses strength training to keep competing in the sport she loves. Linda balances her running with barbell work to build back what the road breaks down.

Missy

An avid hiker who doesn’t let her AS diagnosis sideline her adventures. Ankylosing spondylitisis is an inflammatory, auto-immune condition that causes chronic pain and stiffening of the spinal joints. Regular resistance training has helped Missy mitigate pain and stave off the degenerative effects of the condition.

A former “gym-bro” who found a passion for the artistry of barbell training. Cole was bored with the standard gym routine, so he reached out and discovered the skill associated with barbell training keeps him coming back for more.

A cardio instructor who added “national record holder” to her resume. Yvonne is incredibly self-motivated and persues excellence with any endeavor. After selling her fitness studio, Yvonne learned the way of the barbell and hasn’t looked back.

A wife, mother, and grandmother who took back control of her health and her life.  Jett follows a balanced strength and conditioning regimen as a means of self-care so she can continue the good work of caring for others.

A first responder who looks forward to coming home to his family after every shift. Sean’s job requires him to be incredibly thick-skinned and even harder to kill. Strength training helps him keep body and mind fit for duty.

Liz and Amanda

Friends that train together, stick together. Liz and Amanda are hard-working moms who share a love for road races and strength training. They hold one another accountable on a training plan that requires work to be performed both inside and outside of the gym.
